I'm a co-founder at Square (now Block) as an engineer and as a technical leader, started several companies as both CTO and CEO, and invest in startups, both personally and as a General Partner at Green Visor Capital. Here's how I work with companies:
- Free consultation for up to 2 hours — Are we a good fit for each other?
- Sign a simple engagement contract
- I charge $1000/hr to be paid ahead of the session
- Compensation
- I accept equity grants as a form of payment. The grant's value will reflect my hourly rate at the current FMV of the company.
- Travel
- Any travel that's necessary will be arranged by you. Flights that are longer than 3 hours must be in business class.
- Contract Terminations
- Our contract can be terminated at any point.
